Deputy Director, Results and Knowledge Management
Ms. Onyango oversees GMS’s work under Objective 3″ — the development of materials and activities designed to transfer knowledge and practices to the Global Fund community, using electronic, paper, and face-to-face means. She has 16 years of experience in managing and overseeing public-health programs, and 6 years in women’s health and rights advocacy. She also has worked as a fund portfolio manager for the Global Fund. Christine holds a master’s of health sciences degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and a master of arts in international development affairs from the George Washington University.

Strategic Information Team Lead
Dr. Waseem leads GMS’s work related to strategic information. A social scientist, she brings to GMS over 20 years of experience, including experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection, management and research; complexity-aware monitoring and evaluation; technical assistance; and capacity building. Saba has advised national and donor funded programs in countries in Southeast Asia. Saba holds a Ph.D. in international development and economics from Cornell University and a master’s in economics from the Delhi School of Economics.

Ms. Mathai is responsible for tracking of GMS project indicators, overall management of results-related data, and creation of data visualizations for GMS publications and presentations. Neann also supports GMS’s work in tools development. She has experience as a data analyst in the context of drug and vaccine development. Ms. Mathai has a master’s of science in computer sciences and a bachelor of sciences in computer science and chemistry from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Ms. Yousoufian heads communications at GMS. She manages the production of reports, tools, presentations and other materials, oversees branding and marking. Elise has over 20 years of experience in project management, writing and editing, and translation. At GMS she has also facilitated small- and large-group sessions on writing and communications. Ms. Yousoufian holds a master’s degree in international training and education from American University (in DC) and a bachelor’s in English from Cornell University.

Ms. Vérité is a member of GMS’s communications team. She is responsible for the production, editing and translation of a variety of reports and is a key contributor to other communications activities. She has over 12 years of management and business consulting experience and a master’s degree in business administration from George Mason University in Virginia.

Electronic Tools Specialist
Mr. Samayoa leads the development of management tools for the GMS. He is a monitoring and evaluation expert with over 15 years of experience implementing and supporting programs in health in the public sector and in education in the private sector. In this expert capacity he has served on GMS teams in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Mr. Samayoa invented and led development of several dashboards for use by principal recipients and country coordinating mechanisms. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Universidad Rafael Landivar, Guatemala.

Ms. Kanimba supports strategic information and information technology activities. Prior to joining GMS, Ms. Kanimba interned at the Center for Children and Families, a Georgetown University research center in the McCourt School of Public Policy. She holds a B.S. in Biology of Global Health from Georgetown University.

Senior MIS Advisor
Ms. Handayani managed the development of GMS’s information management system (IMS) and oversees its maintenance. Enny’s more than 15 years of technical and business management experience include identifying, collecting, and using information for planning, implementing, and evaluating health programs. She has expertise in logistics management information systems (MIS), health information exchange, and strategic information. Ms. Handayani has a master’s degree in public health informatics from the University of Maryland and a bachelor of science in biology from Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
